We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Input Specialist to support a large-scale heavy industry project. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining project-related data across multiple systems. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity for reporting, compliance, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and update large volumes of data into project databases and management systems
- Verify data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of project documentation
- Process daily reports, timesheets, material logs, and equipment usage data
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to collect required information
- Identify and correct data discrepancies or missing information
- Generate basic reports and summaries as requested by project management
- Ensure compliance with company data management procedures and industry regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project and company information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in industrial or construction environments
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data management systems
- Ability to handle large datasets and meet deadlines under pressure
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of industrial project workflows is an advantage
